Rare, first edition children's illustrated story book. Written by Jem and illustrated by Swavek. Used hardback in good condition with dust jacket (price clipped) in good condition. Dust jacket intact, but showing some signs of wear, particularly to the head and tail of the spine, along the top edges, front and back, and the fore edge corners, 2 tears on back cover. Spotted internally, some showing through to the outside. The book has bumped corners and wear to the top and bottom of the spine and along the bottom edges of the boards. Edges of the text block are spotted. Child's signature in pencil to the front paste down. Some light spotting to the prelims and the last pages. Otherwise clean internally with tight binding.
