AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY AND PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY OF A RETIRED PHYSICIAN - Hart, Cyril - First Edition
AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY AND PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY OF A RETIRED PHYSICIAN
Cyril Hart, a Cockney raised just outside the East End of London, was raised in an Evangelical Family, but was a card-carrying Communist by the age of 18. During the Second World War he was an air engineer and followed this by graduating in medicine after entering Barts. For 30 years Cyril was a senior partner in a large practice in Huntingdonshire. In addition to this achievement, he studied local History at Leicester, becoming the University's first MA and awarded a DLitt. With extensive experience in medicine literature and English history, his retirement provided him the opportunity to turn to the study of philosophy and water-colour painting.
The autobiography has a dark blue hard cover with gold writing, the binding is tight and stable. Only a few marks can be seen on the front and back from general wear and a small dint in the front cover. The inside first page entails a small pen written note to a previous owner, however nothing impacts the readability of this detailed autobiography.
