Very scarce publication. Red card covers with gilt titles on the front; stapled. Very little edge wear. Light surface indentations on the rear cover which can be seen when holding up to the light. Attached to the first text page is a small sheet with a dedication to Captain P R D Kimm and signed by the authors. Kimm has written a small, neat comment on the reverse of this page to the effect that he has corrected the text according to the errata sheet that was issued with the book (actual errata sheet not included). Consequently, throughout the text, there are several neat, unobtrusive corrections. Illustrated throughout within the text with numerous black and white illustrations of heraldic shields. This is a study of those members of the British Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta who are descended from the English Martyrs.
